Hello everyone! Today’s post is not a cookie, but rather another type of treat!
Last week my sister and I took a trip up to visit the QVC Studios in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and as you can see from the picture, we had a great time. Every person we met along the way was very warm and welcoming. We were greeted by Carolyn, who gave us a very entertaining VIP tour of the studios and shared many fun stories. The “Today’s Special Value ” that day was a Bobby Brown make up kit (which of course I had to have). I ordered before I even left the building. We also got to see Bobby Brown and the gorgeous models that she was making up. When we finished touring, we sat with Carolyn and had a lovely lunch in the cafeteria.
We were actually supposed to be meeting with one of the very talented hosts of QVC, Nancy Hornback, but somehow did not connect with her during lunch. She was actually looking for us while we were waiting for her. It was a little like a Three Stooges episode.
When we did finally meet Nancy and sit down to talk, time just flew. What a sweet, funny and amazing person. It honestly was like sitting down to talk to another sister. Nancy is a breast cancer survivor and she has a beautiful story to tell. If you are wanting to hear her story, straight from her, you can check out her facebook page at www.facebook.com/NancyHornbackQVC. It was such a treat to get to meet Nancy and all the fantastic people at QVC. My sister and I had a wonderful time!
