Finally, the day all the men in my house have been waiting for. Iron Man 3

To be honest, I too have been anxiously awaiting the return of Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow, in the always exciting Iron Man.

Since our children were much younger, we have had a tradition of going to a late night movie almost every Friday night. It is always fun, but especially when everyone has been waiting for the movie to open for a while.

To help add to the celebration (yes it is cause for celebration), we decided to make some cookies. My boys are getting older now and the thought of making cookies isn’t what it used to be, but when it’s an Iron Man cookie…they were all in.

 I had bought Marvel cookie cutters from Williams-Sonoma a while ago and somehow actually remembered where I had put them. Don’t be too impressed, it took a bit of searching before I remembered, but nevertheless I did find them.

The cookie cutters are also stamps, so you get this very detailed impression. Even though I didn’t follow the exact design, the indentations provide a good guideline.

We had a lot of fun creating these and I hope you all go see the movie and have a lot of fun as well!
