Very Scary!
Halloween is fun and there are lots of people that love to be scared.
To that point, there are plenty of Haunted Houses and Creepy Costumes to frighten the masses.
However, there is something that sends chills up my spine and makes my toes curl.
Going to the dentist!
Have no fear though, I have a plan.
Every time I go I take along a bribe.
Yes, it’s true and I am not ashamed to admit it.
I bake, or create a treat for everyone in the office.
Although, it has been brought to my attention that taking sugary sweets to the dentist isn’t the best idea.
I figure, you should sweeten them up and then beg them not to hurt you.
I choose to believe that my plan is a good one and that they would never hurt a woman that has baked for them.
Since it is October and it is a dental office I am going with a theme.
These super cute boxes are from the Martha Stewart Craft Collection at Michael’s.
Just perfect for a treat to take to the dentist. That is, if the dentist doesn’t mind the sticky candy coated popcorn on the inside.
(He should like the box anyway.)
Hopefully, the whole office will get a kick out of these and go easy on me and my mouth.
I do realize that taking them a bribe doesn’t really change the outcome, but it does make everyone smile before the drilling begins.
Believe me, I feel much better when everybody is happy before we start.
Well, they’re all stacked up and ready to go in the morning.
I just wish I were!
