Out Like A Lamb?

For many of you today did not seem like the beginning of Spring.

Enough with the snow and school cancellations.

Old Man Winter has certainly worn out his welcome.

March may not be bowing out gracefully, but the skies are looking brighter ahead.

Time to turn to thoughts of Spring

One of the best ways to kick the winter blues and start looking forward to Spring is by adding some fun touches to the decor in your home.

For very little money, you can create some Springtime spaces that will brighten your mood.

Here we have taken a couple of store bought bunnies and made a few eggs by covering Styrofoam eggs with yarn.

It would even be cute with chocolate bunnies.

This kind of vignette can be used as a table centerpiece, decoration for the kitchen counter, or maybe the mantle.

The eggs are very easy, but take a little time and patience.

Good substitution for dying Easter eggs and they last from year to year.

Just a tip if you plan to make these eggs.

Glue as you go. It gets too messy if you put glue all over the egg, then try to place the yarn.

We even added an embellishment to one of these eggs.

Get creative and try making some shapes and designs.

The possibilities are endless.
