♥ Rise and Shine It’s Breakfast Time ♥
Want to wake up the ones you love on Valentine’s Day with a spectacular breakfast?
Try this fun and festive plate of goodness.
I cooked up some easy egg cups using a heart shaped cupcake pan.
Part of the bonus is that you can make a dozen at a time.
So what are you waiting for? Let’s get started.
Take some cooked tatter tots, or hash browns and press them into your heart shaped pan that has been prayed with cooking spray.
Simple right?
Next (and you are going to love this part), create a wall around your heart using BACON!
(I used turkey bacon)
Easy so far, right?
Now just whisk up some eggs with a little onion, salt and pepper and pour them into each heart cup.
Once you have filled them all up, pop them into the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes, or until they look fully cooked.
And because we sprayed our pan they should slide right out, into these perfectly shaped hearts.
Here is where you can be as creative as you want to be.
Use your food to create a beautiful plate.
I added a hollowed out half orange that I dipped into chocolate and then pink sugar to make my fruit cup.
Then using the natural shape of the strawberry I made hearts and I didn’t stop there.
I lined up the eggs and added some pair slices to create Cupid’s arrow.
Well almost lined up.
Next I added a couple more pieces to make the plate complete.
Using a mini heart shaped cookie cutter I cut out some tiny hearts out of waffles and created small arrows placing them atop a heart shaped strawberry.
Sprinkle on a few extra berries and you have a beautiful Valentine’s plate.
♥ I hope all of you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! ♥
